Team

Vincent Kenney

President

Vincent is the President and Chief Executive Officer of KBS. He has over 20 years of experience managing successful teams and contracts, directing strategic and business development initiatives, and managing corporate operations and finances.

Prior to founding KBS in 2015, Vincent served as a Project Manager for AECOM, providing dedicated and mission focused contract management and leadership in support of various Federal agencies. Mr. Kenney combines his leadership background, and experience as a Program and Project Manager, with extensive knowledge of Federal regulations, and agency policies to provide practical and relevant solutions. His specialties include management and team building, Business Process Improvement, policy development, strategic planning, training development and implementation, and Records and Information Management governance and execution.

MART PIZANA

Vice President of Business Development

Mart Pizana is the Vice President of Business Development for KBS. He joins us a with over 30 years of Military, Federal and Industry experience leading teams to success in the fields of Program Management, Contracting, and Mission Support.  He most recently served as the Assistant Federal Security Director for Mission Support for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in El Paso, TX where he oversaw all support functions for the El Paso International Airport’s TSA operations. Mart has also held Senior Program Management positions with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection-U.S. Border Patrol, National Park Service, and the Department of Energy’s Office of Science at the Berkeley National Laboratory. Aside from His Federal Government experience Mart also served as the Business Development and Corporate Contracts Manager for “Management and Engineering Technologies Inc.” where he led Business Development efforts and managed a robust portfolio of Government Wide Acquistions Contracts including OASIS Pool 3 and 4, GSA Schedule 70, Seaport NexGen and PASS SB. 

Mart is a retired U.S. Coast Guard Officer with 23 years of honorable service. His last assignment prior to retirement was the Deputy Comptroller and Warranted Contracting Officer at the Coast Guard’s largest training command in Petaluma CA. There he led a staff of over one hundred uniformed members and federal employees managing all contracting, financial planning, analysis, and budget execution in support of the 3000 students and 350 military personnel residing at the training center on any given day. 

In addition to his assignments in the world of finance, Mart has also served as a leadership instructor at the Coast Guard’s premier senior enlisted leadership academy. He is Master Training Specialist, having earned certifications to facilitate the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and Kolb’s Leadership Styles Instrument (LSI) and has traveled extensively throughout the country delivering presentations on effective communications, generational diversity, and performance improvement. 

Mart currently resides in El Paso TX with his wife Kay and their Pitbull Phoenix. 

Stefanie McMaugh

Director of Human Resources

Stefanie is the Director of Human Resources for KBS. She oversees corporate recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, and health and welfare. She manages all corporate HR policies and procedures, compliance and licensing requirements, and employee and organizational development.

Before joining KBS, Stefanie provided business management and client support services for small businesses including government contractors, consulting companies, and a CPA firm. Previously, Stefanie performed executive level support in multiple school districts across two states where she garnered multiple awards including Employee of the Year.

Stefanie has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from West Virginia University and 20 years’ experience providing HR, financial, and client relations services.

TREY BRESSLER

Director of Contract Operations

Trey is the Director of Contract Operations for KBS. He is responsible for the execution of all tasks and activities associated with KBS contracts; management of KBS personnel; and interfacing with clients and customers. He also assists with strategic and business development activities, and targeted project management support.

Before joining KBS, Trey was a Senior Program Manager with Amentum where he oversaw day-to-day operations for contracts with a total contract value of over $60 million. He managed a portfolio of contracts for multiple government agencies to include the Department of Defense, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Social Security Administration, Defense Health Agency, Department of Homeland Security, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and Department of Transportation.

Trey has over 10 years’ experience in operation and personnel management of government contracts, is a Subject Matter Expert in the Declassification field, and a member of the American Society of Access Professionals (ASAP).  Trey has a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University where he was a member of the NCAA Division 1 Golf Team.
